In collaboration with the Academy of Judges and Prosecutors and the Judicial Tight Group, we has started a research analysis on judicial practice related to the authorization and implementation of special investigative measures in the country, with a focus on ensuring alignment with human rights protections and European standards. This is a crucial step towards strengthening transparency and accountability in its security and intelligence sector.
16 Apr 2025We recently co-hosted a workshop in Tunis with the National Commission for the Fight against Terrorism to introduce key reference documents on Public-Private Partnerships in the security sector. Bringing together representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, the General Authority for Public-Private Partnerships, the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts, and other institutions, the workshop fostered dialogue on the role of Public-Private Partnerships in strengthening security governance and preventing violent extremism.
14 Apr 2025In a significant step toward strengthening community engagement and stabilization, the Lebanese Armed Forces Civil-Military Cooperation (LAF CIMIC), with support from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and DCAF, has equipped the Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital with a state-of-the-art craniotome set. This vital contribution will improve the hospital’s capacity to perform complex emergency surgeries, benefiting around 10,000 residents in Marjeyoun and nearby villages.

This initiative in Mali supports women’s leadership in addressing climate-related security risks by promoting their participation in governance processes, supporting local adaptation efforts to climate challenges, and strengthening the role of women-led civil society organisations.
